Guys I think there is something wrong with my PS2. I tried to play socom, 'cause you it's the weekend, it's get drunk and play socom night, but it won't work. It kept telling my my network cable was unplugged when I know it wasn't and then it finally let me sign on and it kept disconnecting me from the menu. I spent like 45 minutes fuckin with it, whats wrong with it? How do I fix it? I don't wanna buy a new one. And I wanna play socom.

Hmm.. reinstalling my network adapter..... did it come with a disk? If it did I don't know where it is, this may take a bit.

yeah it came with a disk,but if you lost it you can do it with the socom disk. before you connect online you can choose to edit or create connection at the bottom of the sign on screen.

Yeah I did it in socom, i've reconfigured it like 4 times now and it still won't work right. I finally got it to connect to the internet late last night and now it's trying to tell me my password is incorrect, only it's saved so that makes no sense at all. And like, it's not my router I know that works, I even put th cord in every spot on it, and it's not the ethernet cord 'cause that works for my xbox too and xbox live runs fine. I don't understand, but I'm really pissed off and if it doesn't work I say I just kick my PS2 and see if that fixes it.

did u test the connection on socom yet? cuz socom servers be fucked up and do that to me all the time. go to edit network configurations before u log in and test it to see if its the connection or the garbage ass socom servers.

Yeah when I reconfigure it it's fine, it connects and everything, I don't know it's gay.
And sure Snipe if I don't get around to fixing it sometime soon you can have my HDD with all the maps already loaded on it and everything.
