compared to socom3, socom 2 is WAY slower, takes 5 times the bullets to kills someone, lag is crazy... the only reason why you dont like socom3 is becouse of CHANGE... socom 3 is way better in so many ways, but everybody complains... oh it takes too long... THERE ARE SMALL MAPS AND U CAN CHANGE THE TIME ON ROUNDS. but i think most of you just dont like change... the ppl that joined bts like KO and P and eastside and a bunch others, we r having a blast, we war almost every night, there are a croud of ppl on everyday too... maybe u dont like it joker cause u only played it for a max of like 20 games, then u got the 360... thats like not even a month of playing, not enough time to get into the game like you had to do with socom2... and joker i think the reason why ppl stopped playing(like smally, coop, diddy, jester, yung, sucka) is because you stopped playing, also maybe the fact that stunna and snipe couldnt play and eveybody got 360s and started playing the 360, i think that also had an impact on if ppl wanted to play or not if you were to get on socom 2 since socom 2 is SO great , it probly wont be that fun... its fun when u have friends playing, and when the socom2 maps come out for socom3, u probly wont even play them cause your too into your 360..., btw where is diddy, coop, sucka, smally?... they havent posted in a while or played socom and joker im not trying to be mean or anything... thats just what i think why everyone dont play socom3 anymore and why ppl say socom 2 is better for one socom 3 came out on oct 12, 2006....i didnt get my 360 till the end of dec of 06. to me that is more then enuff time to play a game and realize it wasnt as good as socom 2. there isnt one map on there that you can tell me is better then desert glory, blizzard, cross roads, first abandoned and first blood lake, etc... on onther note jester, stunna, snipe, sucka, yung, east, drtyjerz all stopped playing b4 i did. the reason i stopped is cuz shit took way to long and at the time "NO ONE" was playing small maps or lowered time. plus with having a child at that time frame...i didnt have 3-4 hours like i did in socom 2 to play maps. when i got on i could play 1 -1 1/2 hours of gaming. plus i have more then 20 games in and 2 months of play. so dont try and put the blame on me saying thats why cats stopped playing. cuz they already stopped b4 i did. as far as the 360 goes..yes i enjoy it more...it go the same if i had the PS3 and all you cats were play socom 3 on the PS2. onnce your used to playing something in HD it is hard to go back. you will find that out soon enuff. when you spend $600 on a PS3 you aren't gonna wanna play a shitty quailty PS2 game on it, your gonna want shit in HD. plus the reason way alot of us like socom 2 better is, we have more memories on socom 2 then on socom 3. alot more fun memories before cats got frustrated with length of maps and other things of the game, and stopped playin. yes you may like socom 3 better cuz of certain things but some of us like socom 2 for its things. busta you rolled in around when socom 3 was gonna drop in a few months. you would see things different if you was down since socom 1 with us. you would be blowin a different tone. |

S3 is a better game over all period. If you dont like it long, shorten it. If you dont like it big, Minimize it. If you don't like vehicles, take them out. I agree that memories made S2 "our fav game" but I have to agree that ppl just wanted everything to stay the same. If they re-wrapped the same game (Madden style) y'all would love it and bitch about everything anyways. S3 beats S2 on every level (graphics, gameplay, hit detection, lag, modes, interactivity[psp], downloadable maps) ...but alas....it doesn't have memories...and why is that? Well memories gotta be made and it wasn't afforded the opportunity so it died.
On a personal note tho' - I feel like socom was the way we all stayed connected and even if i didnt enjoy playing S3 at first, I would log on so I could stay connected with my friends. I think if more people did that we would have created those "memorable moments" and who knows we might of gotten to like it a lil too. I'm sure other things like our persobal lives played a major part in the death of socom as well.

Once you get the "next "generation system then its not the same. Like Joker said. Playing games in HD is nice. Thats just plain and simple. They are coming out with a new Socom soon right ? I am sure I wont be playing it though. I do have my ps2 but just can't set down the 360. After you play some NCAA Football in HD it is really nasty. We will all be back on the same page when PS3 drops and Socom comes out for it. Then we can regain East9 once again like in the old FMJ days.

heh, BTS was warring the clan FMJ... me and BUCK thought it was weird seeing that clan... AND there was a guy called "JOKER..." in that clan, i thought it was a coincidence... even tho i wasnt around when you started fmj, but joker talked about it here a couple times

We need to get a tournament going on the 360 sometime. I dont care if we play some damn uno. That game is alright. I been playing that marble game on the arcade. Shit gets hard towards the end of it.We need to play some Texas holdem sometime.
