Joker is right that we can't war on GB if no one comes onto to the forums and signs up.
Aside from the sign up, we don't have any tactics for these maps from a team perspective. A lot of nights we win just because we have a lot of outstanding INDIVIDUAL players. Come war time that does not always equate to wins. The talent combined with good team strategy results in us owning the competition. I have bounced around to different rooms this week to see what other teams are doing. The one thing is clear is that a lot of teams are operating using Nextel’s and Yahoo Voice conference rooms. This way even when they are dead people are getting hooked up with locations of the enemy.
You constantly hear guys bitching about map types or maps in general, but the fact of the matter is we should be good at all variations no matter what. To be prepared is so key to victories, and with the same map types we constantly play (demo, suppression, control points) we are not prepared for those breach and extraction type maps. With limited input on these forums from the majority of the team I am probably just stating what the member who read this forum already know.
I think SGP has some of the best talent in all of SOCOM, but until you get everyone on the same page it turns out to be a waste. I know I am not even close to being as good at this game as all of you guys. I am the type of guy who likes to play in controlled team environments where I know what I need to do. Too many times I find myself is games where I am just trying to plug gaps in coverage and getting over run by 2-3 soldiers. So on that note: I will remove myself from the clan to make room for a better player. much respect to u yaya for being with the clan. we do need team work on alot of maps, but playin in e9 we all (allie clans) play the same types of maps. and if we play other typres of maps peeps bitch and go find other rooms or make another room. but i am done for warring if the worst way, but we need to get cats on the same page, like u said yaya. but we really need to start warring. i think we need to start the ball rolling on wars is get some friendly wars in. i think this will start the whole war process. cuz who is in the friendly wars will be like lets start warring and then the peeps that arent signed up to gb, will do so agter that. but yaya peace out bro.

not likely to happen anytime soon. you can fit all the "team players" in sgp on one hand. 32+ players in a clan = failure waiting to happen.

so how do we fix this? can it be fixed at all? i think that some people are definitely stubborn and just always have to do their own thing. and theres others that will get together and try a strategy if somebody just presents one. but a big reason for the lack of teamwork is the lack of practice and a lack of practice is from a lack of wars. i think that if we can get some wars (non gb) people will start to see and understand that this game cant be won with people running off by themselves, they'll quickly find out that we will get owned in every war if we dont get on the same page. plus i'm sure our communication problems wont be as bad in wars cuz i think people would talk alot more. 32 plus people is a failure waiting to happen if we add the wrong people....we dont have that many problems wit behavior or gameplay outside of maybe a few people. there is definitely a bit of bitching going on between people about stupid ass shit tho. and the negativity some people present just spreads throughout the room. and i agree its only natural that there would be a problem somewhere about something when so many people are thrown together. just my thoughts, but i honestly dont know how to fix it  |

well yung you and me talked today and i think we have a little something. I have given the leadership title to yung for the first squad (dont get it twisted, i am still overall). but i feel yung is on the most in the clan and he can set up wars with thru the socom ladders and it will be easier for him to do it. i have a son now in which it makes it harder for me to come on earlier in the night. so this is where yung comes in and gets wars going. we also r thinging of shifting a few members onto the 2nd roster. the peeps that dont play as much and the peeps that do. so the first roster can be the active war roster.
i feel this is a start in the right direction and we should be on track soon altogether. we have been thru alot worse then this and r still here.

well the gamebattles thing is gonna take forever.....but we are starting to make progress towards wars on the ladder system on socom. we've been moving some of the less active players over to the 2nd roster in order to move people who want to war over to the first. once the 1st roster is set i'll set up a war for us once i can figure out a good time and day.....depending on how quickly we can set the rosters up my goal is to get us a war by this weekend sometime.

yea i already put us on the ladder for this weekend....i tried early this morning to get us a war for tonight (friday night) but turns out u have to do it 24 hours in advance, so the earliest we can get a war is for saturday night which i'm just waiting for challenges at this point.......and u cant specify how many people you want to do a war with, dont know how the whole thing really works yet but we'll find out......i wont be playing tomorrow night but at least i'll get the war setup and yall can jump in and tear it up with out me.
