I think they may have out done themselves by building something they can't control. 32 players simultaneously throwing nades, shooting newbie cannons, driving vehicles in maps seven times the size of current maps? ! ? ! ? ! ? By now zipper and sony are well aware of the phenomenon they have created, and with this news of greatness comes the slight of weakness "The Horrible Lagg". I pose this: If you want to impress and brag about your accomplishments to a Socom player, wouldn't the first thing you would be proud to admit is the Super Server 3000 that puts an end to lag? An announcement like that alone would insure your games place as the next best selling online game (sure new maps, weapons, and vehicles are attractive but give us what we really want). I am of the belief that they can't or wont spend the $ to address this problem so they dressed up what they could and sent it to the dance. Now, with that said...I'm still gettin it cuz 32 players promises some insanity. Oh yeah imma be the first one to team kill a whole squad by driving a vehicle full-a-SGP off the cliff LMAO  . Seriously tho' as excited as I may be I am also just as fearful that they might have ruined it, but hey, what the f^ck do I know anywayz. * the Super Server 3000 aint real.o0O (or is it?) |

oh great now think of this, and this could or will happen. now with 32 heads in a room, yung will be puttin up numbers like 52-7. and also cats can have a whole clan play in a war, without having cats sit out and shit.

OR ppls will bum rush the hell outta the best playa ..or yung and he/she ont be able to do shit with 12 ppl bastin on em. cuz that my stategy roll in numbers and take out the best first.....in fact depending on the maps and objectives you'll need an entry team or a transpoprt team we can have toney drive the bus cuz he friendly and all drop some guys off and pick up other guys...See now i'm gettin all hyped again. LMAO

Well its kinda like this.
You shouldnt have to worry so much with the grenades being throwed all at once since the maps are suppose to be huge.As long as the maps are huge and they keep it seperated it shouldnt be no worse then what it is now.Im sure they wont put out a game that will be any worse then Socom 2.Even though Socom 1 was better then Socom 2 to me though.I cant wait though.It should get fun.

they improved the servers from s1 to s2, what makes you think they wont try to do the same for this?

I'd have to say that they "MUST" improve the servers. With the quality of online play for other games, Zipper really has no choice. With the pictures and power of the PS3, they better hook us up and drag us to the next generation consoles. They know that our age group 20-40 actually have the cash to buy the shit they get rich off, so they need to keep us happy. Oh and it is true, they have improved the servers tremendously from Socom to Socom 2.
