the only thing it doesn't play dvd's you already own. the dvd's will come in UMD form like the games, which is a smaller disc. so that is more $$ for a dvd i might already own.

true. im sure theyll come out with some kind of way to transfer dvd to umd, or maybe use some kind of umd converter on a dvd player. we'll see.

It's funny that you mentioned the kids thing, Joker. My nephew got that DS for Christmas and he loves that shit. Since I saw the graphics on the PSP I haven't wanted anything else. That shit is tight.

yeah my wife's godson got the DS for xmas too. tried it out (he has madden for it) and they mad the graphics equal to the nintendo 64. what kind of shit is that 64 bit? at least the psp is equal to the ps2.

nintendo has a good general game base, so even with sub-par graphics, people will play it. id get it but id rather wait for psp.
