when it comes to a letter, thats what everyone says to do, but isnt that a little too informal? its almost like saying "im too much of a bitch to say it to your face so ill write it," or "i dont know you too well, so to save face, heres a letter telling you what im doing." im not too fond of that, but do they need it in writing? i would just go in and say like, basically im not happy working here anymore and im giving my notice to you now. what do you think i should do?  |

Just go up to him and demand a raise or to become a manager in the company or your leaving.Tell them you have been there for a while and its time for the company to repay you.Eaither make you a manager or your leaving.Then it puts it on them to make you one or not

Tell him face to face and let him know that you have finals and everything coming up. He'll have to understand and handle it that way. If you want a quick out, tell him that your starting your internship at your soon-to-be new job. Get the fuck out before x-mas. I worked in retail before and it sucks around the holidays. The only good thing is dealing with the fly honies.
