yo i played a game of poker wit 3 of my boys about two weeks ago....it was a 20 dollar buy in.....turns out only 3 of us brought money......i know right...kinda stupid.....who brings money to a planned poker game?......anyways turns out the asshole who didnt bring his money ended up winning and walkin out with 60 dollars........i tell ya if i ever see that punk again maaaan.....its on.

I ended up buying in at the SGP picnic hosted by Big Ern. 20 dollar buy in and 17 people bought into it. I knocked out a couple of people and it started to get late. I was down to the final with one other person and I ended up spliting the pot with him even though I had twice as many chips. I just wanted to get out of there. Took home 170.00. Thx liq!!

I've had my ups and downs with poker lately and my down being the first knocked out of a tourney a month ago.
I had A-K and dude called my all in with a pair of 2's and he gets the third 2 on the river. Did I mention that the flop was A-K-7. So much for my leading two pair.
Anyway, I played in an amateur night poker tourney last night at TK O'Malleys and out of 40 people came in 6th in the first tourney. I started the second tourney, but it was getting late and I went all in with two pair A-2 and dude caught the flush on the river. It was fun though. I earned 117 points. I believe that the points go toward the WSOP point system and if you earn enough, you can qualify for circuits without buying in.

Trigga, is a Phil Ivey in the making. It's going to be tough getting one in this upcoming week because I have classes on Wed & Thurs night. Plus Friday, I'm playing in one. Does anyone want to get one on Tuesday?
Anyway, I think next week will be a good week for me and we can do it at my crib (pause). What do you all think?
