that muffin chick really should set her goals hire in life. I mean you work at a mall or something, now I know a job is a job and all but are you ever going to own EB? How about the retirement plan? I doubt they have one since that place is just a stepping stone till people find a REAL job. Fact: The owner of EB don't know your name and could give a fuck if you existed or not because there are 40 more pimple face nerds waiting for your job. Hey did EB ask muffin if it was ok with her to sell the bussiness to Game Stop? Wake up! you use them for a paycheck and they use you for a service End of Relationship. I wonder if she has the same love for her previous job, or when asked about that job does she sound more like the angry guy in the article. Hmmm  |

The same goes for everyone, I dont own the business where I work and if someone bashed the product or goods I was providing whether tru or not I would probaly send them to hell too. I'm never going to own anything where i work except for maybe my own lunch, the top dogs here don't know my name. Damm, now that I think about it, I have been here 10 years too long.
There are many folks out there who work for someone else and dont own any stake or shit where they work. It doesn't make them less of a person. You should tell us the business you own or where u work, and do you stand behind your work or do u too just to it for a check?

i do it for a check just like everyone else. If you love your job would you do it for free? You should take pride in what you put your name on and efforts in which you toiled (your product)but that doesn't mean you should defend people who wouldn't defend you. This isn't about Miss Muffins product she is unconditionally defending a company in which she has little knowledge of (outside her tiny store or district) Trust me going to bat for large cooperations who if it were legal would hire immigrants to do the work for 1/2 the cost is useless. Let it be known that pissed off ex-employees are common more troubling is the self-righteous current employee these are the people blinded to reality. I guess what i'm saying is: be mindful of your position within your job, take pride in your job, and sucking the dick of a retail manager in the mall usually never pays off. Bunk is Muffin your girlfriend?

No, she's not my girlfriend but I do consider her a friend and while I understand the whole "mind your surroundings" view I dont think you should be bashing her for what she doesor her point of view. Trust me, if my organization could hire or outsource I would be out of a job. They have 5 billion dollar budget each year, and I'm sure they could see alot more money in the coffers have they outsourced. But it's like I said before, everyone does it. Some do it cuz they like it, some do it because they have a child to take care of others cuz they just want pocket change. I hope u never have to endure the shit others do. Maybe you can go to work for microsoft doing something u like but others shitting on your company. DO you think Bill gates would defend u personally. Any way u look at it, your her too..

WOW, you may suck your bosses dick man, but I have better things to do. I don't need to suck dick to be noticed. And by the way, I'm the most well known person in my district. Half my EB corporate office knows me, I think I may actually be going to lunch with a few of them before they all leave the company too. And as of now, no most of Gamestop doesn't know me, but a few of the corporate deparments do. My region knows me very well, and stops by my store quite often seeing as how I work at one of the number one stores in our region and a top ten in the company store. Oh and Steve Morgan, the old president of EB and now the new president of Gamestop too, yeah he knows who I am also. Hence I'm getting promoted and do stand behind my company. I've spoken to and hung out with a lot of the big heads in my company, part of the reason I stand behind it. I know the people I work for and know they are good people.
And didn't have to suck any dick to get there, again I'm not like you.

As muffin, I, like other members highly doubt that the president knows you. Just becuase you have a generic employee of the month plaque with your pictuse and his stamped signature hanging above you time clock doesn't mean that ACTUALLY knows you. You say Steve Morgan knows you and hence your getting a promotion.. the President himself gave you a promotion?!? (and you say you don't su..) ok. Joker says your getting promoted to asst manager I wonder how a clerk gets to go out to lunch with cooperate, 1/2 the Corp office knows you, The region person sees you regularly and it sounds like you are the reason that your store is in the top ten of Mr. Morgans multi-million dollar empire, and you hangout with big heads in your co. I don't know you but like some of the people on this board I would have to find that difficult to believe. In a non PC way..You insult our intelligence with that bullshit either your a liar, an attention seeker, or you have done some inappropriate things to the wrong people( i say wrong because your still @ a clerk level position) the one thing I will agree with: I'm not like you.
