is anyone else having a problem logging on? i can log up to the universe part and the part where i put my name and password and i go on and in like 2 seconds after i log on i get disconnected, then i tryed a new name and it worked fine i didnt get disconnected. i dont know whats up with this game...

been haven probs with socom also...the other night i was up till 2am trying to play...kept gettin booted.

but this only happens to my name Bustagun not any others, i made a fake name and put in whatever letters and a password and it worked, i didnt get booted at all

is that other name verified or not...could be another reason why.

The servers are messed up, to socom 3 forums are having tons and tons of posts regarding people who cannot connect. it is assumed 33 percent of normal folks who play peak hours cannot connect. I am also one of those players. I'm on day 3 of no socom.
It has to do with one of the servers they use, assumingly the load balancing is off and we keep hitting the bad server and not the good one like other folks.
I too created a new name but was still unable to login successfully.

Bunk...i think your right this happens to other online games and this happened to me before on another online game, when the server got too crowded i coulnt log on and a couple thousand other ppl couldnt log on for like 3 days, maybe this is happening? But its working for me now =D

Working for me too, Since I was able to get on, I never logged off, just on case. And when I got booted, I was scared as all fuck.
