wow never seen this before, how the hell is that possible. to switch marcus banks for jumaine jones in the trade. celtics lucked out, im happy again.
EL SEGUNDO, California (Ticker) - A week after the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics pulled off a multi-player trade, the deal has been amended.
In the original trade, the Lakers sent veteran point guard Gary Payton, forward Rick Fox and a conditional first-round pick to the Celtics for center Chris Mihm, guards Marcus Banks and Chucky Atkins and a second-round pick. But on both teams' websites Friday, it was announced the deal had been amended. The trade reportedly was tinkered with because Payton failed to report to Boston for a physical. Even though Payton didn't report for his physical, he remains in the deal. Los Angeles now will receive forward Jumaine Jones instead of Banks, and Boston keeps its 2005 second-round pick. All other terms of the deal remain unchanged.
they better not dare trade banks again. stupid lucky assholes lol.

Yeah, GP is sticking it to the Lakers. When the trade was made it wasn't finalized until all players had their physicals and GP never showed up and that caused the trade to be amended. He did Boston a huge favor and cost the Lakers a future star, lol.
