there isnt a basketball thread so i figured id make one. i was just readin this, i figured someone would be just as interested as me: In the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, Roman Modrowski reports that when Scottie Pippen walked onto the court after practice Monday, Bulls boss "John Paxson told Pippen his latest project would be to work with newly acquired point guard Jannero Pargo." At this point, "such tutoring appears to be all that remains in Pippen's Hall of Fame career." With 16 games left, Pippen confirmed he probably won't play again this season, and he already has acknowledged there is almost no chance he'll play next season." www.suntimes.com/output/bulls/cst-spt-bull162.htmlthe man will be missed, the Greatest Team to ever play the game has almost completely retired (theres still Toni Kukoc and i think a few other dudes, i just cant think of them).

What would a basketball thread be without mention of # 21 Dominique Wilkins...The GREATEST PLAYER to come through the Atlanta Hawks organization...Question Ars and be totally honest dawg...Do you think Nique should have been on the 50 GREATEST PLAYERS Squad??...I think you know how I feel...Aiighht...

i dont know if id put him very high on the list, but he definitely should have been on there. i can kinda see why he wasnt though...i guess there are a lot more significant players that have been in the league besides him. i dont remember who else was on that list but im sure he couldve replaced someone.

okay i'm putting the whole Nique thing to bed. he wasn't in the 50 greatest players so don't post that bumm up here anymore. the only thing he could do was "windmill dunk hard" that's it.

LOL, yeah you can pull that shit up kinda quick but im at "work" LOL. bill waltons numbers look like trash, but you have to consider the era he was playin in, it was a different game compared to the one mj and nique played in. nique was like the VC of the 80's. hes good, but no one cares unless its a dunk contest or an allstar game.

nique had talent, theres no question, but so do 50% of the people in the league. the rest of them are just big. big men will get recognition over guards anyday because there werent a lot of good forwards or good centers and there still arent, you can find a good guard anywhere.

Nique played Small Forward Ars...He carried the Hawks for years dawg...Back in the day the Hawks were a perennial playoff team year after year and Nique basically carried them on his shoulders...He doesn't get the DUE CREDIT he DESERVES...Look at his career numbers they are worthy of being on that squad...Show him some LOVE Ars (pause)...He wasn't just a DUNKER he was one the better slashers (Jordan,Drexler) of his ERA, he had a career average of 25+ points and believe me those points did not come ALL on dunks he was more VERSATILE than that...Aiighht...
