dont feel like making new topic so im putting this here.
just got my grades in and.....
i dont understand this stupid ass gpa thing, ive finished my first year and i thought that a B=3.0 in gpa? am i wrong? if not how is it possible for me to have 2 A's 4 B's 2 B- and 1 C and have my gpa be at 2.96?
what is a 2.96 average mean? is that a B average or worse? i always thought anything under 3.00 was bad or am i wrong?

the b- and the c kill it. 2.96 is the same as a 3.0 though, it all comes out to the same thing cuz the decimals are so close. my overall gpa dropped from a 3.85 to a 3.26 in a course of 1 year. you can take one bullshit class and bring that back up quick though, so i wouldnt be concerned. as long as its not an F youre straight for now.

Yea 2.96 is straight Yung...If it was 1.96 then that is something to worry about...Don't even sweat it dawg...Before you know it your GPA will be back above 3.0...  ...Aiighht... |

to tell you the truth i dont know if i graduated with a 1.9 or a 2.9,, i was drunk all thru college..

It was a 2.9,, i always thought 2.9 was an average student.. Anything above 3.5 was good.. go figure..

Sorry that you are one Yung,, but i dont consider myself one..The only reason I got that gpa is because i failed 3 classes,, not because i got anything less than b's in my other classes..

lol thats a good attitude bunk. somebody asks you how you did in school and you say "great i had all A's and B's....... not counting my 3 F's, they didnt count cuz uhhhhh........ uhhh........ i wasnt trrying in those classes"

to tell you the truth, the 3 classes were tha same classes witht he same fucking teacher.. he hated me so much that he would purposely make questions in the major exams the same type of questions that he knew I was having trouble with..
3 fucking semesters i had the same damm class.. in the end I said fuck it and cursed him out,, that semester i passed..
yay 1 for the good guy.
BTW that class is hard,, semiconductors is no fucking joke..
